He has got a considerable amount of improving to do to realise his potential. How anyone can debate that is completely mental, either that or they're just wearing local lad blinkers and seeing what they want to.

Stats would also suggest that Iniesta isn't even in the same league as Mark Noble. Stats on their own without context are useless.

He does still improvement to make, it's obvious but he had started showing that prior to last nights game. Everyone can have a bad game, look at Rom.
By the way, local lad blinkers for me normally means those who, continually slate and boo, the local lads no matter how good they perform, countless numbers of players received this treatment.

Lampard does actually possess a higher than average IQ. I hope Ross learns it. I desperately want him to succeed, but was can't afford to carry him through away matches. Also Barkley is not a child anymore.

Right so Ross, constantly passes backwards??
The comparison stats were between 3 attacking players and his were more than comparable.
Yes, he does need to continue to improve and imo Rk will bring this out of him but, the stick he gets is simply ridiculous.

No mate, it's where people constantly make excuses for players being awful because of where they come from, but are more than happy to lambast the likes of Lukaku and Mirallas. If a player is playing crap, I'll say they're playing crap. If they're playing well, that will be acknowledged too. Everyone should hold our players up to the same standards. "Local lads" should not be exempt from criticism.

i never said he passed back constantly,I used an example That stats could make a player look good even if they passed back constantly.

Last night, I thought Ross should go and Geri should come on, because he wasn't having a great game. Players do that, it's nothing weird but the flak he gets is not warranted.
Local lads actually get more criticism, it's not the reverse.
