I thought that he almost played the pass of the century in the first half, about 17 yards out Tried to thread it through about 5 or 6 stoke players. It was cut out by the last man, but that kind of footballing intelligence is what I go to the match for.

In that position, because the balls are high risk high reward there's a very thin margin of error.
People complain Ross doesn't have vision or look for those incisive passes.

He showed he had it today and was slightly unlucky. At times his execution wasn't 100% either, but at least he was looking to play those harder incisive balls into the box.
