Absolutely! Certain England players should never be representing the national side again... I'm looking at Rooney, Cahill, Hart, Wilshire, Henderson, even Sterling to an extent (he may improve, but now he's nowhere near good enough). They were both excluded to the same degree - neither played for one minute thanks to Mastermind Roy. Thank goodness he's resigned and thank goodness he hasn't done any more harm to John and Ross's embryonic international careers

Mate alot of players got found out here as well as Roy. But what is scary is how [Poor language removed] players become when they put on the English shirt, like they forget how to play football in the summer.

I would add Deli Alli and Sturridge to that list as over hyped and overrated as this English team attacked with the same intensity as a sloth with rigamortis.

I would disagree by not playing a minute must personally kill your confidence - Hodgeson is a clown and certainly offered Barkley a public humiliation - ist job for Koeman is to rebuild his confidence.
