Spot on, some of the shouts towards him last night were riddiculous.

Too many people think they know exactly what his next move should be like they're bashing FIFA - and if the shout 'turn' and he does and runs into trouble immediately the start on him - even when he's doing exactly what they want.

I have got to the point now where my only response to these idiots who aim constant criticism at Barkley is simply, would you like him to play for LFC?

Comments section on Facebook from a post where Martinez was praising Barkley. Look at the top comment FFS. I absolutely detest 'fans' like this.

Ive started to remove any everton fan pages on fb, its full of "fans" either having a pop or trying to say what he should be doing....becaus they do it on Fifa.

These people have never played football

Seriously tho, Never understand the shocking rants you hear when the poor lad makes a mistake...Don't care about his age or his mental capacity, He is an Everton player who loves the club, Would be scoring hatties every game if he could and groaning every missed chance will only hurt us in the long run coz he'll go elsewhere, Somewhere he feels loved and probably paid more too. So quit it !!!!
 
People are still slating Barkley and giving him a hard time when things don't quite come off for him, why? He's having a boss season and if you look at his stats he's doing better than Dele Alli who is having a great season, it's a pity the team isn't doing as well as the media would be going mad over Barkley now.

from what I'm hearing on radio etc, the media are currently praising him to the heavens, it's the fans inside the ground who aren't. To be fair I didn't think last night was one of his better games, yet I get into the car to hear Beecroft say he was brilliant for 90 minutes, Durham today saying the same. I think it's down to expectation with the crowd now, including me probably. The whole team should be built around the lad
