This shouldn't anger me as much as it does because at the end of the day him not playing is better for us but it's ridiculous the way the lad is getting treated.

Thats now 6/7 games in a row for him when he's been picked for the squad and not played a single minute, what is the actual point of him going with the squad, travelling extra miles just to then sit on the bench and not play a single minute since before the euro's.

Better off staying at home, training with the rest of the lads in preparation for the upcoming games not having to change focus, travel more and then to have the same outcome as staying at home and not playing any part in the games.

It's all well and good being made up that there's been no risk of him getting injured playing for England but imagine what he's thinking.

He was one of the two outfield players (the other playing for us at the time too) not to get any minutes in the Euros and he's one of only 2 members of the original squad (the other a right back) not to have played in either of these internationals.

Ross should retire from the national team. When a glorified David Platt is seen as the saviour of English football, and the only talent that truly could become world-class is overlooked and humiliated like he has been by England, why even bother turning up? I would even go as far as advising him to leave England and play in another league because I think the English football public don`t appreciate natural football players.

Probably only called up so all the big wigs could whisper into his ear about how he needs to move to a 'big club'.
If I were him I'd be pissed at all the minutes spent on the bench watching the likes of Livermore and Chamberlin get on the pitch instead. Gotta be pleased he hasn't been injured, at least.

Saying a player is playing poorly when he is is not fickle. Blindly happy clapping players does not make anyone a super fan.

Who mentioned anyone being a superfan?
I'd say you questioning a Ross' professionalism, of him not being able to do the basics, strolling around, pulling out of tackles etc, etc, basically doing a character assassination on him, to then, 10 weeks later, saying he should be an England 'mainstay' and is better than one of the most talked about Midfielders in Europe (Alli),is fickle. But, hey, that's just me.

That is also his last 'like' on Twitter.
Haha, he actually has

Nice and sly, good one Ross.

Personally think he should consider jibbing it off altogether, same with many other players who don't get a look in when they feel they deserve it. They go to a tournament and embarrass themselves every time, the players in the squad getting tarred as bottle-jobs and losers. Any player with common sense would be wise to steer clear the media circus that is the England football team.

you should all want him to play every match, him never starting for England is only going to make moving to Spurs to play alongside Alli even more desirable. We all know damn well he instantly gets into the England squad as soon as he moves to a glamour club.
