Rooting against moyes

I don't get why people are still assed about moyes...let it go! He did ace for us for many of years and that shouldn't be forgotten. Some seem to be re-writing history about mr moyes!

He's gone, and we have come out the other side with a completely different manager who can not only keep us up the top end of the league but it looks like he can push us on to bigger better sexier things!

All's good for us... Not so good for moyes...I don't kick people when there down and I have NO worries about utd winning the CL haha...

Want to give utd a hammering at GP because it helps Everton get to the CL, not to nail anything into moyes. I care about Everton and any pain we inflict on moyes I hope we do with a bit of class!

The Bayern game is not a foregone conclusion with Schweinsteiger and Martinez out, with Lahm forced to play in the centre and kroos to drop deeper, they won't have a full strength back 4 and quite the same goal threat. Still not much of a chance, but it could happen.

That said, I don't think Moyes could fluke his way into winning the whole thing, even if he can get past one 2-legged tie. And wouldn't a win against Bayern help the overall England coefficient? could make our potential draw slightly easier if we manage to do the improbable and stick it out to finish 4th
MARTINEZ OUT

Yyyeeeesssss !!! Another Moyes thread ....... Ive been waiting for one of these for a while.

I hoped they win tonight, not for Moyes but simply the longer they stay in the more of a distraction the league is to them.

They'll get Chelsea in the semis!

His biggest chance to screw us will be in the game at goodison. I bet you he'd love to keep us out of the top 4 by getting a result against us.?

This worries me a bit TBH. Our one saving grace is that by the time we face them, we could be in the top 4 and we know how Moyes approaches away games against top 4 teams.

If they beat Bayern I wonder if Moyes will rest 7-8 of his starting players like he did in the derby to save them for the CL semi, after all Utd vs Us for him should be a even less important game in his mind than the Mersey derby is.

and to answer the thread I hope Bayern slaughter them 10-0, I hope we hammer them and smash them all over the show 4 or 5-0 in the loudest atmosphere Goodison has had since the 80's, and that the last 30 minutes we Ole' them all over the park and take the utter piss out of them, and maybe then just maybe he will realise that Everton have never been a 'small' club besides to someone who 'doesn't know his history'.

I have no doubt we will beat them, none at all, Moyes doesn't win big games away vs better teams, it's in his DNA

Moyes is a bell though, isn't he?

I'll be happy either way tonight.

They lose - 4th place is Champions League

They win - They'll most likely field a weakened side at Goodison with thoughts about the semi-final.

And even if they win, they still won't win the whole thing.

To conclude - Cheese on toast lid.

The moyes effect still upsetting fragile blues, cmon lads lets get over it. It,s done stop living in the past.

It most certainly is not "the past".

Moyes and his team present a real and present danger to our aspirations over the next month.

They are our direct opponents in ten days time and their continued presence in the CL hangs like the Sword of Damocles over our season.
