Did anyone see Wayne Rooney getting interviewed after winning the prem? When he was asked was it special winning the 19th title he said 'ye being an Evertonian and becoming the most successful english club ye it is'. Quality!

Rooney is a winner through and through. hes a professional footballer at the top of the game and he`ll be an Evertonian all his days no matter what the haters think. i`ll always have a big soft spot for the lad. he`s one of us- so get used to it.

Dont want him anywhere near Everton again. Its not because he left us, or even what he wrote about Moyesey and how he behaved throughout the transfer saga, but coming back to Goodison and kissing the badge- he's made his bed. This love in with Rooney because he helped knocked Liverpool off the top is absurd to me. Maybe our fans really are that obssessed with them across the park. Rooney is a bell. Liverpool are bells. United are bells. They are all bells.

Surprised he wasn't choking on his words made 6 months ago when he was trying to weasel his way out of the club for not matching his ambition. A PL title and a CL final later. He's just a chavvy human being that can play football well.

he got loads of stick first to kick off his reaction. hes a fighter so he will hit back when he is assaulted - verbally or otherwise (just like our beloved Duncan Ferguson) i couldnt give 2 flying fcks for LFC but i know Rooney had to do the best for himself and his career in football. best of luck to the lad and i hope time heals for everyone concerned
