1 dead, 15 injured, one in critical condition. Amazing how a state of the art modern day structure can collapse like that. Thankfully it didn't happen on a matchday.

They were mate. Renevation work was done, as part of a stadium extension from a 24.000 to a 30.000 capacity.

They were expanding the stadium, its not like the stadium fell down, i don't think there was ever a danger of it collapsing on a match day. Safety guidelines and procedures clearly weren't followed correctly. Doing any sort of expansion building work on existing structures is complex, clearly some nuts and bolts were undone before support was put in place and the whole thing has caved in.

Very sad, but heads will roll for this.
