Yep, that was a big ask for those two, as it was DCL at the other end.

Thing is though, he gets slated for not playing kids, then he plays them, it goes wrong...etc etc....

No idea what has happened with Lookman though, looked a better prospect than DCL originally.

Lookman would have been a better option if they'd setup deep, like Swansea wolves etc, kept the lines between defence and midfield really tight and compact then looked to utilise lookman and Lukaku down the flanks and behind their fullbacks

Too light in midfield, obviously missing 3/4 of our better players did not help. but should have done better

I'm surprised we played so high up, everyone who gets a result at anfield sit deep and frustrate the life out of them. We made it too easy to play inbetween.

Too say the least i'm not a happy camper and it's lucky that I don't own a cat.

Even Gary Neville was pointing this out, saying that the way we had set - up was almost playing into the hands of the RS.

RK took a commendable chance on some kids today and unfortunately they simply didn't perform, nor did others.
Liverpool didn't even play anywhere near top gear and still had it so easy.
As Spurs proved, we need a new number 1.
Hope Pennington gets another chance in a home game but he was way out of his depth today just as he was at the end of last season. No improvement. At 22yo that's probably that.

Way too open down the middle. If we were gonna play 3 centre halves with zero pace between them we should have sat way deeper. DCL/Barkley positions didn't work either ,

Everyone has figured out how to play them this season - keep the midfield compact in front of the defense and deny them space, then play quick passes forward into the space they leave in behind.

Today he sent the players out to do the opposite and gave them all the space in the world
