Agreed.

If anything, it seems totally illogical to go training in "warm weather" to come back and start playing again in the middle of winter.

But my biggest gripe is the timing of it.

It was the same in January two years ago.

It is rewarding failure.

This trip is only made possible because we failed to beat Leicester City at home in the Cup.

We have no football to look forward to this weekend because our players failed us but what ho......while we sit around missing our fix the players are all off soaking up the rays in Dubai

Luckily it's pissing down in Dubai this week so it looks like they'll have to actually do some training.
