Ronald Koeman discussion

I was underwhelmed when he was hired, and continued to be for most of this season.

The Chelsea match was a low point...I didn't want him out...but that was ugly stuff. He had zero bank of goodwill and/or trust for us at that point.

I will honestly say with hand on heart that I would have defended him to the hilt had we drew or even lost to Palace.

We dominated a very close 1-0 win. We could have lost it 2-0...but it doesn't matter, that's football. We didn't and we defdnded well and found a goal when frankly we should have had more with a bit of luck.

You bought this up again. Everytime you talked about stuff you just bought the fraud in. Where had we finish last 2 seasons under the fraud? 11th and 13th right? Tell you what you should mention we were in that group in 80s.

i'm going to fly over to HK and slap you in the face with a wet fish if you dont stop going on about Martinez and calling him a fraud ffs

I will literally bring back the tango man just to make you stop.

Anyway, Koeman....masterful yesterday and no complaints from me.

We were in that group of 5 not so long ago.

Lol.

Nice to see Pulis piling the pressure on Koeman though. He had a twinkle in his eye when he said that!
Mate you're sticking to your guns and I admire that.

But maybe conider that the two years that followed were awful? Badly awful, and potentially scary at times.

I'd also love it if we kept to Koeman to be honest. This has gone to Martinez again for some reason.

I don't bought him up actually. You read the last 20 pages how many times dave had a dig at Koeman and he used the 72 points trophy as the holy grail.

It looks like he's worked out the best formation to suit our best players.

Holgate and Williams look very comfortable as part of a 3 - I feel like mori is an accident waiting to happen at times and he'd be the first defender I'd replace.

Baines and Coleman are better going forward than defensively and this system gives them more freedom to attack.

Having 3 in midfield (who all move!) allows Barkley more freedom and more passing options which allows him to dictate the play more.

Having 2up top keeps someone closer to lukaku to bring into play as he struggles when he's isolated.

Things seem to be coming together
