Yes he isn't a bad player.

He just has a habit of switching off or giving up on things he could have prevented. Case in point was the Ibrahimovic goal.
Had he chased back he could have cleared it before it spun over the line.
He has a habit of being on his heels and not anticipating how a situation might play out in his favour.

He is a useful player, but if we want to really challenge at the top, perhaps Koeman might be looking to replace him.

Without going too far off-topic, as we have already. Mori is sound and as it stands, our second best centre-half. My post was in regards to our 'fans' with 14k Twitter followers and a YouTube channel who moan at him any chance any chance they get because they try and be mates with Journos through Twitter.

We've looked far better with him in team and got important results in the process.

He has his problems, yes, but he's got something there that I wouldn't let go of just yet.

Mori wants to be a starter. If we sign a new CB, the new player will play along with Williams. If he wants to be 3rd/4th choice then it's fine.

I'm simply saying that if we expect your argument that he's a total mercenary strictly here only for the cash can you please tell me another club right now that would better his wages? Because the only way that will happen is if he goes to Arsenal or a European equivalent and makes the step up and why would they be interested in him right now? It's not that I'm saying he wouldn't drop us, I'm saying nobody would come in for him that he'd drop us for. Because they wouldn't pay him what we have and that's only if we expect your argument that he's a complete mercenary and not here for any other reasons.

Probably the only centre - half we have who is always looking to play the ball out of defence rather than just hoof it up, the problem is the movement from what he has in front of him is that piss poor he can linger too long on the ball and ends up making a mistake.

Aye, I say that every week at the match to the fella who sits next to me who hates him. He's like Barkley, he's always looking to move the ball forward but the movement isn't there so they can sit on the ball and lose it, which causes the angsts and moaning in the crowd.

Only have to look at the Leicester game on Boxing Day, the forward movement was fine and Funes' passing was sound - same too Barkley when he came off the bench.

Think as you said mate, he was a player loads were down on when he signed, so even when he has a good game those lads will just focus on any slip - up he had in that game, it's the Everton way.

I'm not being bias at all, far from it. I can absolutely see were we are as a club presently. I simply don't see why Spurs or any equivalent would want Koeman when there are better options available for them. Koeman wasn't my first choice to be our manager but imo he was the best we could get. Spurs or someone like them would have a larger rage of manager's of quality to choose from and I don't see why they would want Koeman.
