Wondering if someone within the hierarchy has questioned koemans performance over the first six months of the season and decided to pull the plug on any extensive transfer activity due to not trusting him

Interesting point that, if we had won today it would be easier to make a case to get more players for the cup run, asking for a war chest to help us come 7th isnt so easy.

Yeah possibly but it's a bad sign if the board don't trust the manager
its not wanting him sacked its getting him to set the right tactics with the right players - he did fetch 3 in 2 are good and the keeper imo is past it!
his team selections are baffling etc etc just wondering if he can turn out a 90 minute performance not seen on as yet just burst of play that get us a win or a draw etc

So who in your opinion is Koeman specifically blaming here - the board or walsh?

I imagine in this instance the board, about Schneiderlin.

The summer didn't go well I guess because they haven't worked all together before, Koeman said the other week that him and Walsh have now had time to work together and get things lined up for this window.

So he's been a target they've agreed on and the board will know about. So it's down to Elstone and his cronies to sort out the cash and get it signed.

So why pick Barry over him for the majority of the season? An 18 year old who he has barely given any game time to. At least the last couple of games he's seen the light and Davies hasn't let himself or the team down.

Its not just Barry though is it. If he's saying an 18 year old is the best player when you have a a team full of International players and players with years of experience, then to me he is having a go at them.

I wouldn't think so just yet. I really don't think Moshiri is an impulsive man. He made it clear since day one he wanted RK and he didn't stop until he got him. He will give him at least until this time next year before he would sack him as he thought he was the right man to move us forward long term and build our next squad.

Surely even the most stalwart fans of RK must be disappointed with his performance so far? In terms of results and performances. I think @davek is a lone voice calling for his sacking, but i need evidence of a serious course adjustment. A bold move in the transfer window could go some way in raising morale and by that I don't mean just Morgan. Otherwise, we can kiss Rom goodbye. How patient can we reasonably expect him to be? We've been duff for the last 3 seasons.
We've spent an awful lot of money on firing Martinez and recruiting Koeman. With the purchase of Lookman we've for the first time spent money in real terms following the sale of stones. RK has made mistakes, moshiri went all out for Koeman, he needs to back his judgement and support him in this and the summers transfer window. If we are still seeing the flat, uninspiring football this time next year 'with a team Koeman has assembled himself' then questions need to be asked about his position, but not before.
