Fair enough - I've seen what I would consider to be adequate evidence that the bloke isn't going to bring anything at all to the table.
I have no doubt you would have been calling for moyes head every couple of months
No what I blame Moyes for was his inability to set up or motivate his sides to win the big games. That was his fault not Kenwright's. In the end Koeman is here for the next few years barring disaster. That's a long time to spend fumin'. Let's see where we are next Christmas then perhaps I'll be fuming with you, but for now I'm keeping my powder dry.Koeman is a fraud like Martinez was a fraud. That's not something you could accuse Moyes of being. What you saw is what you got. His running down of his contract was disgraceful but you could point to Kenwrights lack of ambition for the club as being a prime driver in his actions.
Not convinced of this deadwood argument I keep hearing about either.
Didn't moyes get the likes of osman jags and Cahill firing?
I don't believe the idea that the squad needs replacing is a reasonable one because I don't believe that's the real issue. its being used by people to hide behind the truth which is koeman is not getting what he can out of the current bunch.
Phew I thought I was going to have to pipe down at some point while koeman is in charge.
If he doesn't drop a player or 2 then he needs to try a different system/formation at least.. Energetic 2-0 win for me!!Let's see how we perform tomorrow usually RK team selection is a hint of how we will do IMO!
Lol he would never have got either of those firing. Face facts they were both limited footballers who happened to be drilled the right way. Koeman brings nothing at all least of all hard work and discipline. He very often doesn't take training so how is he going to get his message across consistently.
Koeman, who is facing a mini-crisis after seeing his team win just one of their last eight games, said: “The club have a plan where we think we could reach the Champions League within the next three years.
“That’s why I left Southampton. The financial power is bigger here than at Southampton. Financially, we can compete with a club like Tottenham Hotspur. That says enough.
“I have always been open and transparent – perhaps a little too much. When I first arrived at Everton, the fans liked that.
“But when I said I had a lot of respect for the way Liverpool are playing and that I was tipping them as champions, my words did not go down well with the Everton fans. I had, obviously, been too open and too honest.
“Of course, it was not my intention to upset our own fans, but it hasn’t helped that we have not won a game for a number of weeks.”

I'd say the idea of replacing this squad (well a good portion of it) was a 'reasonable' idea. Because this squad has had plenty of chances. But equally its fair to say Koeman isn't getting the best out of this squad either at present. He's made it clear he's not happy with them and its showing. They either needed to respond or not. And they haven't. To me this squad needs an overhaul. Old players and uncommitted players not in tune with the manager. Koeman should have done better at getting them onside and then systematically changed the squad. So I agree to an extent (he could have done better so far).I don't believe the idea that the squad needs replacing is a reasonable one because I don't believe that's the real issue. its being used by people to hide behind the truth which is koeman is not getting what he can out of the current bunch.
If they don't like the manager that's fair enough, but the effort should be put in for the paying fans who are travelling from all over the place. It s different from the Martinez era, because now the players will go before the manager!I'd say the idea of replacing this squad (well a good portion of it) was a 'reasonable' idea. Now what we've got is a period of uncertainty. But things have to change one way or the other. Todays game will tell me all i need to know about this group. If they don't have a go today, Koemans philosophy or not, then they lack backbone.
