Would you sign him all over again for the same fee, based on this seasons performances?

What are you getting at pal? It wouldn't be particularly bright to judge a player on a single five-month section of his career, rather than the entire career to date. I'd also be uncomfortable judging a player in isolation without also factoring in what's going on around him.

As has been said over and over: he's currently our top scorer despite starting the season unfit and being utilised in a manner that does NOT play to his strengths. Whilst there is already room for individual improvement, we could help the guy out by adjusting our tactics a little and also by signing a winger and / or a ten who are prepared to pass the ball forward, or move into space or, God forbid, take a man on and beat him. If you want proof of this, just look at how much better Lukaku and Mirallas work together than Lukaku and McGeady do.

Lukaku was, and still is, worth the fee paid. BUT if Martinez choses not to use him in the correct manner then that fee, despite securing a great player, will be a waste.

He needs without question to be playing along side another forward Kone or Eto especially at Goodison.
