So you hold a massive club with worldwide support responsible for the behaviour of what must have about 10-12 knobs in that video making tits out of themselves ? Utterly disrespectful, yes. Sectarian ? No.

Maybe you should stick up a video link to the real sectarian bile heard regularly at Ibrox and elsewhere from the fans of the club who are regularly getting slapped down by UEFA for sectarian chanting. Don't get me wrong, Celtic are no angels with some away fans resorting to singing pro-IRA songs which they don't even understand the meaning of, but there is no comparison to the built-in sectarianism of Rangers, despite the Scottish media and establishment's campaign to portray this as a problem which pervades both clubs equally.

If you look, I said Rangers fans are no better. In fact, they're probably worse in some respects.

I only put the Celtic videos on because that was the point about highlighted about Reidy's post. Personally, I despise both teams and would love to see them both banned from Europe/play behind closed doors until the mindless idiots learn.

I did see that you said that. My point it that a few d**kheads ruining a minute's silence does not in any way compare with the huge problem at Ibrox. It's just that the Scottish media and in particular the Daily Ranger like to portray this as a problem which is equally prevalent in both clubs, which is not the case.

Neither should get into the EPL anyway as they are not English, simple as. And they only want a slice of the EPL kitty.

And on the subject of Rangers Lite, sorry Hearts, their booing during the minute's silence when the last Pope died was a million times worse than that episode above. Joke club. Where was the stewarding when that "fan" attacked Lennon last season ? Shame on them.

That's the pertinent point right there.

Agree about Hearts too, another appalling set of "fans."

On Rangers and Celtic, I agree, Rangers have a far worse record when it comes to Sectarianism. The only reason I put the Celtic videos on was to go with Reidy's point that one of the two hate England and the UK in general.

Has Carson Yeung been done for drug trafficking and money laundering yet?
What was the story about the law moving in on the guy that bought Rangers?
Could Dave Whelan really gift Wigan FC to his 21 year old grandson?
Any news on Hicks and Gillet's court case against the RS?
What can Chelsea do to the supporters that hold a stake in stamford bridge - after todays admission of looking to move to Battersea?
Will Harry Redknapp become the new Terry Venables? - by that I mean, will he get the England job then give it up like El Tel did after euro 96 because of a series of court cases.
Are Newcastle still for sale, and what is their stadium called this week?

is this a joke?

love the 'only a few people line' and the double standards.

you could be right though as singing your praise for the ira is considered political and not sectarian. so thats ok then. and hey, if you sing anything that is sectarian (when thousands of celtic fans were singing 'orange [Poor language removed]' at Walter Smith, a man who carried Tommy Burns coffin - after the 3-0 at parkhead last season) then you can just grin and let people know it's just a bit of craic and tell everybody that rangers are the bigots. sorted then!

Yeah, erm, right. Any chance the sectarian stuff and pishing contests can be moved into their own vulgar thread please, as this thread was started to highlight the current malaise regarding ownership and running of other clubs.

good call.

the £50 million must come with planning permission for tynecastle and a debt free club.

i think he paid £20 million for them and the debts doubled (stories of it even being £35 mill) allegedly, but with other clubs knowing this they will have major problems getting the market valuation for their players like driver and templeton - clubs know they are desperate for cash.

i think he is being wildly optimistic and will never get that for hearts now.

love the 'only a few people line' and the double standards. Watch the video. It doesn't take much noise to ruin a minute's silence.

Daily Record no doubt, or should I say the Daily Ranger.then you can just grin and let people know it's just a bit of craic and tell everybody that rangers are the bigots. sorted then! Don't be silly now. It seems that you have fallen for the Scottish media's line as well.
I refer you to the many instances of UEFA sanctioning their fans for sectarian chanting as evidence of which club has the greater problem.

1) no it doesn't take much to ruin a minutes silence, but it takes a lot to make a banner for remembrance day with 'no bloostained(sic) poppies on our hoops' it took celtic supporters group the green brigade - this 'only one guy' crap is a load of rubbish.

2)am i fook making things up - its the excuse they use and jeanette findlay has argued this point ( http://www.scottishreview.net/JeanetteFindlay151.shtml ), in short:
rangers sing songs about the pope and fenians so they are sectarian and bad/ celtics iraoke songbook in praise of terrorists is political and therefore ok.

3)walter smith being abused was as clear as day, but don't take my word for it:

4) the media being in rangers pocket, do me a favour, they are currently in dispute with the bbc and get very few favours from the daily record, or should i say the daily rhebel

5) the last case was a the fare incident after eindhoven - a joke, but guess what? uefa are investigating celtic now for their chanting, the new bill is also not too popular with celtic either - the double standards are now in the spotlight:
