It was me, it was us, it is our best of the worst voices, but they are OUR voices.

I dedicate this to the D&D,

[Poor language removed] yer if yer don't know where I am coming from.

The D&D know what I mean, and so do all my friends that started this.

Sorry thread descended a bit by me...........>

Considering Rodwell will prob play centre back for most of his career- if I was Jagielka I'd be watching my back- I like Jags but Rodwell probably more talent in his little finger!!!!!

I understand what you are saying, but I do not agree. Jags is Cars episode 2.

Jags is saturated with talent, he just needs a constant role to be able to vent it.

Trust me.

Basically, what I am trying to say is, Jags is our holding mid. I feel this, I know this, and I am not often wrong.

I'm thinking long term too BTW-would never dismiss Jags over the next 5 or 6 years. Would hope in his veteran stage still with the blues, Jags will be ready to pass the mantle over to Rodwell. He himself will hopefully have had 4 or 5 good years as 1st choice centre back/ back up midfielder, speculating that the next 2 or 3 years will be his very steep learning curve 1st before that- so think Jags is safe just now as potential holding midfielder in the years to come- just not this season!!!!!-otherwise it would mean we haven't signed any midfielders come September 2nd (y)

Shhhhhhhhh be quiet dont let HaleWoodBlue here you talking about Jags like this you may awake the beast :D

dont know about Jags as a holding mid, seems a wee bit on the slow side for the role.Think the same as everybody else Rodwell will improve with games under his belt.Think the back four looks better with Jags in there, Yobo was getting verbals from DM for not pushing up when we had the ball yesterday. But full praise to the kids deffo but Baxter isnt first team level yetImo.
And there was nothing wrong with Rodwells header gutted for the lad

i poo-pooed all those that were slating "The Rod" after last week, he showed confidence that was beyond his age, he showed composure and you can see that he will become one of those defenders that will play with "elegance" and not be a panic merchant, i cant really say much about the Brom game as from where i was the view was crap, but this lad will go from strength to strength.
as for Jags, friends who are blades fans were gutted when he went as he's one of those players that can switch between midfield and defence at the click of the fingers, and lets not forget that he's an awesome goalie as well, Warnock didn't used to put a keeper on the bench as he had that much confidence in him between the sticks, mates said when he went in for them they were amazed that he was an outfield player as he looked so at home in goal.

think the team as a whole looked nervous yesterday, cant really have a go at Rodwell i thought he did well.

this is what i mean about all the neggo's that have been on over the last few weeks, most of the negativity is based on hearsay and what they reckon. it will get to the team, it will transfer itself onto the pitch if everyone is ready to jump on their backs at their 1st mistake.

agreed, but i`d rather peeps vent their spleen on here than slagging players on match day.we all have a moan and you`ve got to admit the last month or so have been frustrating for all concerned but one feeling i got at WBA was yeah frustration but solidarity, i thought good support yesterday

we still need to sing more though !!
i was in the speck were if i'd been in turkey/italy i'd have had a megaphone to get us goin'. you can but try and 2 blokes who were down there in the 1st 1/2 were well up for it and we kept trying but some just look at you as if to say........bladdered, and i hadn't had a single drop. when we tried to get it goin, i have to say that all the kids stood up straight away to sing but most of the songs didn't get goin'.
managed to give it to carson(y)
at start of the 2nd, after their lot stopped clappin' and it went quite, cue Reidy," hey carson, if Rafael doesn't want ya, then you must be [Poor language removed]", he was only about 15 foot away so he must've heard it, therefore sapping his confidence leading to indecision and the yak notching up no.100......... do you think opta will credit me with an assist ?:D

Rodwell's class, you wouldn't think he's 17 years old. He keeps possession well, works hard and gets stuck in.

I still think he's going to be a centre half. Moving him into midfield though is good for his development, improves his distribution and he's allowed to make more mistakes without getting punished.
