They all went on to either win more or earn more than they did at Everton. I don’t think any of them would be particularly bothered about leaving here when they look back.

Every single one has at least won an honour now (regardless of playing time). This wouldn't have happened at Everton.

Good examples of how we massively overrate players only for them to be non-entities at challenging clubs hence why we exist rather than challenge
