Jack Rodwell has this morning refuted claims he is ready to sign a new contract with Everton and has issued a 'Come and get me plea' to Europes big guns, citing his desire to play in the Champions League.
Rodwell: "It's not true [Rumour of contract extension]. I'm not signing anything until I receive assurances from Everton that they are serious about matching my ambition of playing in the Champions League."
"It's not just me. Stevie P lar [Steven Pienaar] won't sign either. Pip [Phil Neville] is looking to move after seeing his medal tally dry up since joining and Hibbo [Tony Hibbert] is on the verge of a breakdown after growing increasingly frustrated with Moyes for not playing him up front”.
