Robinho has been sentenced to nine years in prison by an Italian court after being found guilty of sexual assault.

The alleged incident took place in January 2013 when the Brazilian was playing for AC Milan.

Robinho, along with five other men, have been found guilty of sexually assaulting a 22-year-old woman at a nightclub in Milan.



The former Manchester City forward is currently playing for Atletico Mineiro in Brazil.

You might want to look up how extradition works because it is on a country by country basis. Some countries will have extradition deals and some won't. Polanski being in Poland and America wanting to extradite him has zero bearing on Robinho being in Brazil and Italy wanting to extradite him.

It depends on whether or not Brazil and Italy have such an arrangement.

i think you will find most countries are not just going to willy nilly hand over their nationals over
