Has he 'achieved' more in footballing terms & progress in 7 months than the previous 10 years?

Why can't we just be grateful for what Moyes did for us instead of downplaying the great work he did here at the club?

In the previous ten years we went from being relegation candidates to competing in Europe on a regular basis and then being top 7 finishers. Martinez has taken us from 6th to 5th, so far.

So no.

Agree mate the playing staff are mostly Moyes signings ( alright Rom, Barry & Ged) , it seems as though Roberto lets them try express themselves and the ability they have and encouages them to believe in themselves and play.

What we achieved in the previous ten years was no trophies, one top 4 finish and four years in europe.

I hope and expect better over the next ten years but in the 7 months so far we've got no trophies, no top 4 finishes and no years in europe. Which isn't Martinez's fault because noone has qualified for europe or won a trophy yet but it points out why this thread is a little early.

When and if he does win a trophy, he'll have done better but it's premature to laud him before that day.

He's won nothing at all at this club yet.

Bet he wins Blueseye.

*taps nose*

Nope

He hasn't got us into europe or an F.A cup final or finished top 4

Moyes done a lot for this club, Martinez has a long way to go to match/beat it

Our EX did get us stabilty with reservations about his remarks regarding the club, knife to a gunfight thing, comments similar to that.

However there is one aspect which has not been mentioned-- call it what you like --playing style, tactics, the likes of the players Roberto brought in on loan. In the tenure of our EX, how often did he get the team playing in the manner we have seen so far this season. Now give a qualified view.
