Roberto on talkSPORT

He comes across brilliantly every single time I listen to him.

Not that it matters really, but we were already one of the most liked teams in the Premier League, Everton under Moyes drew admirers mainly for our achievements given such little money, our team ethos and the class and dignity of the club. Martinez has continued those traditions but now we're playing an attractive brand of football, coupled with himself being one of the nicest guys in football. Like I say, it doesn't really make any difference, but it's nice at least.

Was driving home from a poker game last night at about 1:30am and had Talksport on. They said Roberto was coming up but by the time I got home, I didn't feel like sitting in my car waiting to listen to him. That and I was dead tired.

His Freddie Mercury-like sky point when we scored. He knows what he's doing him.
If i'd bother with a sig i'd put this in there.

The way that the graphic of the score comes up and almost smacks Moyes in the face as Roberto points to the sky is pure gold.

The more I see that little video, the more I keep smiling to myself.

I would like to know what the miserable, ginger git was thinking when he saw that.

Can't help but like the guy. Refused to be drawn on the permanent signings of Barry, Lukaku or Deulofeu but just said that these loan deals are a three way relationship...us, the players and the parent clubs and these three loan deals appear to have been successful for all concerned thus far. I hope he does manage to sign Barry and Lukaku though and a second year of loan for Deulofeu would be great.
He was also complimentary of Arsenal and Wenger...said that the Gunners always try to play good football and that Wenger is deservedly well respected throughout world football and is a gentleman.
Praised the crowed at Goodison also...said that the atmosphere is what gives the team the early tempo and gets them into the game and that the atmosphere at Goodison is unique.
