It's true that youth setups are a complete waste of money.

We already have a youth set up, a pretty good one actually, that has done more than alright without having a YMCA on our leasehold premises. If they are talking about a 500k - 2 million investment then fair enough, but anything more than that will be an incorrect allocation of very much limited financial resources.

It won't be realised anyway, it's a load of BS that won't even result in a planning application.

Correct. Just another 'Oooh - look over there!' distraction for them.

Money comes, it doesn't all go out. I actually think that would be a more fitting motto for the club now.
