RIP Gary Ablett

Absolutely loved Abblett me, thought he was a cracking player for us. Love him when he's collecting his winners medal and he sees his mate in the crowd and right in front of the royal family or whoever it was handing the medals shouts "alright Toe, I will see ya later",that and having his sweaty boots around his neck during the post match interviews absolutely dripping in sweat. R.I.P Gary

Off topic but how nice is that kit Ablett is wearing.

...that article is a concern. Even locally 3G pitches are increasingly popular in the established leagues because they are low maintenance, weatherproof and floodlit. Kids are being brought up playing on these surfaces and there are some folk saying they contain chemical elements that are unsafe.

It will be worrying if there are any findings along those lines.

It is indeed.

Always stuck in my mind that. Great.

As we all would do it too.

I always thought Gay could have been George Harrisons long lost nephew!
Go on, look again!

Loved it when he came to Everton, top man he was.

First I've ever heard about those 3G pitches eggs, hopefully with the article being in the public domain it will push the powers that be to start doing some testing on them to ensure they are safe for all that play on them.
