my french isnt great but are the comments at the bottom saying we're in the championship???
 
He's only got 1 year on his contract apparently. Even if we had 10 million, would we spend it on someone with so little time on their contract left?
 
Looks like theyr're saying we're '2nd zone' in the league behind Spurs and Liverpool this year.....I guess they think Gervinho will go to Arsenal and Eden Hazard(who we should have bought 2/3 years ago) is off to Man Utd.

I think they are saying us and Newcastle aren't in the Champions' League, and we finished behind Spurs and the Sh*te. They do in places say we are better than Lille(I think?) as Lille would probably finish 9th/10th in the PL, but Gervinho would only move to a club in the CL. I'm guessing the 2nd zone is anyone not in Europe maybe?

We appear to be the most likely to sign him (if the story is true) and have bid 10 million euros which is about £7-8million?
It's a bit odd seeing them write lol though.

They also say that they aren't sure that the PL is more interesting than Ligue 1.

He's a good player and would have been a great fit but if the guy doesn't want to join us, there's nothing left to talk about.
 
He wouldnt anyway cos were not in Europe, why would he give up champions league for no Europe at all, not even Europa league?!. I think he does want to leave and try his luck elsewhere but at someone in Europe.

And like some have said, where are we gunna get 10m Euros from?.

More than enough.....

However I'd also add that if I was a 24 year old playing in france and had the chance to join a team in a better league with no 1st choice forward / winger or attacking midfielder -- I'd be tempted to do so rather than being a potential squad player at a top side.
