Is it just me Toff or does there seem to be a lot of players testing positive all over the gaff lately.

:)

Oh, it's daft mate. For one, the bubbles can't be as well controlled but, also, the protocols are ludicrous.

They could easily return negative tests a day or two later. These are super fit athletes, they aren't going to feel this thing at all.

They could easily isolate for a few days and then be back to it. I just don't understand how this will ever stop until the players get vaccinated (and they're the last people that need it!) - so this could be carrying on for years.

probably because they don't give a toss about the rules like Salah attending a 100 man party in Egypt which is why he's positive.

Well, not necessarily.

There are such discrepancies with the testing.

Players have tested positive one day and negative the next.

There are some athletes across all sport who are in bubbles yet are still managing to test positive.

Yes, Salah may have got it from the wedding - in fact it's likely.

But he may not have broken any rules in Egypt and they're all only human.

There needs to be a better protocol across sport, because teams are just going to be completely crippled.

The internationals are utterly daft, as they add even more risk.

You'll be getting a visit from the Behavioural Insights Team if you're not careful.
