Spot on by the way. I cant believe someone is having a go at his comments, he is basically saying football is nothing without the fans and then gets slated by a fan for it!

If I was a pro footballer (I still could be...) I would never say anything to anyone or interact in any way shape or form. Its just not worth it.

I'm working as well. It's just the way it is you just get on with it. Think you read Rico wrong. Football is about the fans. He's saying it will be crap playing without the fans so he would rather stay home. And for me he is right. Football played in stadiums without fans will be absolute rubbish. Don't think I will even watch it on TV. No passion,. No heart.
