Wasnt the whole Brands strategy to buy young talent, develop then flog for big bucks when the likes of Barca come calling?

If it's what the lad wants then get them up above 100m and do it in the summer. As much as I love the narky little blert, think of the blammos we could get with that.

Good job on the new contract Brands.

Marca were reporting the possibility in April 2019 but nothing now

Much as I agree with what you are saying, Brands has yet to identify one young player to fit this bill since he has been here. Richie was Silva and I cannot think of any one that Brands has got that would be worth anything of note.
 

We probably still owe Barca most of the fees for Mina, Gomes and Digne. I recon they just called Brands and said lets call it quits if you give us Ricky

Isn't Richarlison the only 'young' 1st team player we've bought under brands though?
 
Well praise be that he signed that new contract! Can’t see us selling him in this window, but if they really want him tell them to come back on 1st July with Coutinho type money and he’ll be gone! If Barcelona come calling South American’s don’t often say no!
Would trust Carlo to do some serious stuff with that sort of money!
 

The hipster crowd that say Brands is following the Ajax model of developing youngsters and selling them for mega bucks, forget that they actually win leagues and get to cup finals. We actually don't do anything at all but remain in the EPL. I'd keep him no matter what. If losing Gueye has effected this bad imagine losing him.
