I don’t like him. He bags, and is lethal around the box, but his all round game leaves a lot to be desired. Wouldn’t play him ahead of Bernard, and not sure he’d fit into our best XI if everyone was fit. He’ll always play though because he’s Marco’s boy.

If he doesn’t play we can’t score mate. He winds me up with his daft passing and falling over but he’s our most prolific attacker.

It amazes me that he is not recognized for what he is, that goal scoring centre forward everybody has been screaming for. He is a number nine all day for me and a slotter.

This is true
If he could add passing and beating a man to his game he’d be amazing.
As it is, he’s just a good (some very sometimes not very) player. He could really be something if he pulled it all together.

some people on here big him up way way beyond his current level Though. He’s no where near any of the sky six squads for instance - bench maybe.

I like Bernard a lot but without richarlison we'd be even more toothless than we are now

Some truth though. The further he is out wide the less effective he is. To that extent Bernard provides more from a wide role. But for me he's essential in this team no matter where he plays, as he is a nuisance for the opposition and arguably the only forward at the club who is a consistent goal threat.

You can't drop him outright. I think our best team is with him up top and Bernard wide left right now. But if we are choosing one it has to be Richarlison. You have to choose the player who is a threat in the final third.

I do recognise his value to the team, but he is limited and he needs to continue cutting out his theatrics, like he seemed to today.

Not slating him, providing an honest and balanced view of him. Great goal scorer but not much else, and very frustrating player to watch with his wastefulness in build up play and his theatrics.

Knew it wouldn’t be a popular opinion, and whilst I don’t doubt he has a role to play, I can’t quite work out what that role should be. Don’t like him as a striker, but equally he’s a very limited winger. He proves his worth by being in the right place at the right time and by having great movement in the box, which typically means the play needs to come down the other wing. Tricky one really.
