Typical Everton supporters(?) some of them at least. Always trying to sell our best players. Get it into your heads. We are trying to build something here...BE POSITIVE !

I don't think it's a case of trying to sell our best players, it's just being realistic that their ambitions may outpace our ability to deliver on them. If we can't give Richarlison CL Football soon and he's performing at a level that attracts the elite, we might not have much say in the matter.

Richarlison is in the Brazil squad. He's seeing his teammates, to a man, winning league titles and european cups and probably coming to the national team and talking about it all. He's every bit as good as them and wouldn't look out of place in the Champions League right now. The lad will 100% be itching for success and he's started this season strongly.

Eventually it will just be a question from him and his agent of 'how ambitious are Everton right now?'. Hopefully we have Europa League Football and a cup in the bag, breathing down the necks of the top four, by the time that question is asked.

Loads of clubs will come and pay £80-£100m for him without hesitation.

Im not sure how you put a value on a 22 year old circa 15 goal a season wide player...

Before this summer window i would have said £150mil as hes brazils new golden boy and i think the price will become £200mil if he slots another 15 odd goals this season.

No chance Richarlison goes for more than Joao Felix and Mbappe. Unless he has a breakout season this year and clears 20 goals, which is entirely possible, he'll go for circa £80-100m i'd wager, the top end of which is what Hazard went for with 12 months remaining on his contract. That sounds about right to me.

A factor in the price that we've not considered is the manner in which Richarlison may be prepared to agitate to get his move. We've seen Neymar and Coutinho throw tantrums and refuse to play in recent years, I certainly wouldn't put it past him to use similar tactics, which puts us in a difficult position.

you're such an Everton supporter(?)

I'd not sell for 80, the way prices are going it's not worth it, besides we need to only sell deadwood
Yes I understand that, and I hope we keep building not selling, but I think we will be approached for Charlie and more than likely sell him, the price will be down to the clubs.Players will definitely go until we are back as a top club challenging for all the top honours, which to be honest I don’t think is all that far away, but until then?

It will depend on the player and his agent ultimately and what they want.

It is clear that he is happy at Everton and certainly his career is developing well. If Everton can also progress at the same time so that we can challenge at the very top of the league then there is no reason why he shouldn't stay.

Of course, we always have to accept there are a few clubs that players find it hard to resist and if Barcelona were to come calling then in time I do think he would leave.

Just because his team mates are winning trophies it doesn't mean he should, you should ask what were most of his teammates doing at 22 years of age, I bet the majority wasn't winning trophies ( neymar aside as he is a superstar )

we wont sell for 80m, not a chance well sell for that given how much we paid and how crazy the market is

he'll go for whatever we think he's worth, the TV money means clubs in England don't need to sell their players anymore, you've literally just seen this with palace wanting over 80m for zaha.
