Only the very, very best strikers suit our style of play Ben. The reason Jelavic is doing so well is because he is absolute class.

1 chance = 1 goal.

Despite playing well since Swansea got tonked we still don't create a lot of chances for the front man. If we do our usual start next year Jelavic will have to be on the top of his game to get to 7-8 goals by Xmas.

Most haven't got that level of ability. That said a strikers job is to score. I personally don't look for 'tracking back' or defending from the front or anything else from a forward, especially when we play 4-5-1. Their job is to be the first man to react in the box and they need to conserve their energy and focus for that IMO.

BTW, I'm not defending Kenwyne here, your assessment of him is spot on!!!

i agree get pienaar and straq in, loan a right winger and then maybe sign him permenant next summer then try and get a free transfer right back and i think we would be pretty much set up for a few years without losing any of our key players

haha im getting sick of the stoke fans now. they used to average 18,000 a game when they where in the championship now as soon as they are in the premier legaue they sell out most games . does my tree in
