Excellent documentary, his mum and dad deserve the freedom of the city for the way they have conducted themselves. I cant say i would act that way if my son died like that

I could'nt watch the programme to be honest, it would have upset me too much and would have made me angry.

It was very moving and as others have said, the family have acted with such dignity, it's hard to imagine where they get their strength from. Every time I see them, my heart aches thinking of what they must be feeling.
The comment that they reach for his hand during the match was just too painful to imagine.
God bless them and dear Rhys, may you rest in peace.

Just caught a bit were they said they couldn't believe the attitude of the scum in court.

I was there and you could hear them talking and even laughing.

I watched it last night in a room with 4 girls & they were all crying their eyes out, truely heartbreaking stuff. The 2 comments that really hit home were when his dad said that after the match due to all of the people he puts his hand out but nobody grabs it anymore & his mum talking about people saying he was in the "wrong place at the wrong time" & she was absolutely right, he wasn't, it was the evil shithouse with the gun who was, not Rhys.

Someone put a gun in that kids hands.
It is very sad and very hurtful that the punishments doled out have been felt unbefitting.
That the community, both blue and red stood together against this atrocity is the single glimmer of light in an otherwise very dark sea.

My heart goes out to the poor parents who have acted with such dignity

As for the absolute Scum who murdered that poor little lad

This Chav underclass this blight on our society

They have no morals

Anyway forget all this rehabilitation nonsence

Imagine if the judge had put the old black hat on

'You will be taken from this place' etc etc etc

Would they be leaving the dock smiling then

Dont think so
