Yes it was a small Blackpool in its day - Home James day tours was the nearest Imcame to a holiday when I was a young kid - great fair all closed now!

I agree. We use to end up here or Llandudno on our hols before doing the Isle of Man for a string of years. Always enjoyed it as a kid. Played rounders on the beach or football those were good days.

If you went on the beach there now, you'd have to avoid the drunks and smackheads passed out on the sand lol

I used to love it down there on the beach.
These days you can't even pass out drunk on the sand without somebody whinging.
