Retirement Rumour

When I read it my immediate thought was Vaughan as well as i'm surprised he hasn't retired already with the list of injuries the lads had since he's been here
 
If I was going to guess at any player I'd say Vaughan. Someone said they'd heard he was going to have to quit football when he was suffering with the 1st big injury he had (before it became such a long, drawn out thing) & then a while later Moyes was talking about having some stuff done to give him a career in the game, which was not what you want to hear about a kid of his age.

Derby have said they're hopeful of getting him back on loan when he regains his fitness though so that certainly suggests that they're not expecting him to be out for too long yet.

I hope this is just a bullshit story made out of nothing, I hate to see any player having to retire due to injury

Arteta isnt retiring and neither is Jags that I know for certain because I bumped into Leon Osman in Wigan last week who told me both are making steady progress . He was sound aswell and reckoned that we are over the worsed .
 
Vic may retire from front line Prem football but will be around the lowers if he still wants to play.


Just my thoughts, and listenings.
