Both. Although interestingly today, our captain was one of only a handful to look interested, have two good chances and even complain to the referee at one point. A bit more of that would be nice to see.

Players need to perform better overall but Martinez must take the blame as well. I feel he's still got the boards backing though so I feel another season!

Players are undoubtedly to blame to a point, but ultimate responsibility always lies with the manager.

I'd say that barry, Barkley, Lennon, deulofeu and lukaku have pretty much done all that could be expected of them this year. Robles has done ok, Galloway did well before he fell off the face of the earth, mori has done ok for a newbie, and jagielka has been decent if not spectacular. Individual performances haven't been that bad, it's as a collective that we've fallen short.
