Does anyone else find that strange that Moyes is absent? He has been given special dispensation for not going to the EGM? Perhaps to deflect interest in a Moyes/Contract question? I think it will still be asked, regardless of the agenda.

I doubt though that he is going to fly to Belgium late on Monday evening to tie up the Felliani deal, if he was going to walk. Just thought I would put it out there.

I for one am not worried, and are happy that after tonight we are going to get some kind of resolution. That is the real point of my thread.

Even if we only get some answers, we are going to get some indication of what's going on, what's going to happen and what kind of mood the board are in.

It may not be cut and dry, but some kind of resolution will occur.

What do people think?

Been given permission to speak about the soon be vacant managers at the barcodes....OR He's been spotted with the guys from Abu Dhabi.....cause he 's sick of persuading potential targets with a bag of crisps....

Given Moyes is just an employee, and not a Director or Shareholder, and the Agenda relates to Kirkby alone, it would have been strange for him to attend IMO.

Well I know its about Kirkby, but there is no doubt that some people will try and deflect from the agenda and talk about transfers, takeovers, and Moyes. Whether or not they will be successful or not is another matter.

No worry's about Moyes being absent from the EGM, but now that the transfer window is closed why has'nt he signed on the dotted line yet, that still remains a concern.

I dont know why most people feel Moyes will inevitably sign a new contract now. It was said he was waiting to see the club's ambitions before renewing his contract. He's been able to spend practically nothing this transfer window when the incomings and outgoings are stacked against each other.

I'm not saying he'll leave, but he did leave Preston for us to further his career. Why do people find it difficult to think he wont jump at another opportunity that promises a better future? Newcastle might be in the doldrums right now, but they are ripe for a big takeover there. They'll be next on the list to go.
