Resizing images?

I'm a dull knife when it comes to interweb things, but I know that images can be resized so they don't take up the entire page. Any way to do this with the xenforo code that a luddite like me can understand? I tried the [img=XXXxYYY] but that didn't seem to work.

At this point I'm using this thread for everything.

@GrandOldTeam I keep getting new alerts about either old things or nothing when I click on them. Dunno if it's just for me or for everyone...
