arguments with Widnes Vikings, as they are digging up the pitch later this year to make it artificial grass. Reserve games look like they might now be at Finch Farm

Not sure if it's much useful information to anyone.

We were paying Widnes to play there, so if anything we are saving money, the reserves have had to play a few games at Finch Farm because both Widnes Vikings & St.Helens are playing at that stadium this year which has left the club fuming, the planned expansion of Finch Farm will link with this, the club may use Goodison for the yearly mini-derby.

There is a side that has just reduced it's capacity, nice stadium, near a tesco to boot. Clue: Rugby League.

Ideally the club should play its Reserves games in Liverpool, but if not, they really should make a deal with St Helens to play at the brand new Langtree Park stadium. As it has just opened, no team's reserves currently play there, so Everton should get in quick. Unlike Widnes, Saints has a 100% real grass pitch.

I've been there for the first two games this season and it is very impressive, good facilities and infinitely better than Widnes' ground, as Saints ground is right next to the train station too so people could get the train from Liverpool and be at the stadium inside 30 mins. Might lead to more people being inclined to attend the reserve games.

Lots of bars by the ground too, right next to the town centre.

Moyes used to be really tight with Saints a few years back. I recall both Everton and Saints observed each others training sessions a few years back.

What is the planned expansion of finch farm?, also i heard a rumour about everton reserves moving to st helens new ground? i assume that just wasnt true?
