Reputation System - Disabled

Hi All,

With regret, I've disabled the reputation system.

Unfortunately, despite best efforts to minimise potential abuse (Negative Rep prompting a moderator alert) - we have had a handful of absolute idiots abusing the system. Those idiots will shortly find themselves permanently banned for being malicious, misrepresenting our community and wasting our time.

The reputation system will be revamped and back shortly.

The day I didn't advocate a rapist Ewok as a viable mod for GOT would be a sad day indeed.

Also, reputation system broke, new version coming, stuff of that nature, on topic guv'nor.

People get way too petty about their rep. I'm still secretly gutted from losing my legend status on the deadline day megafume, but it wouldn't really bother me if I was KITted either.

i like the fact (i hope) chico gets plenty of pos rep for his boss previews and then as soon as it's ijjy's turn - the preview is barely a day old before repping is disabled

Just because we descended from convicts hundreds of years ago, doesn't mean we're still convicts today. racist much.

I can say that 99% of the rep I gave out was positive. I don't think I gave out much neg rep at all unless the person was clearly on a windup.

I just felt that pointing out to someone that their post had a positive effect on me was important for the forum and important to keep people posting rather than lurking.
