Exactly. The southern based fans will sell half on there own plus the hardcore who go everywhere from liverpool and the North west SC's

Also £20 adults £5 juniors help as well

The club should have more faith in our support.

Said the same straight after the West Ham game when it was announced we would get 2,900. No matter how crap we play, when it comes to aways, when the team needs it's fans most you can guarantee a sea of Blue. Plus we have a lot of Southern fans as well who get a chance to see the boys in Blue down south so 3000 I never thought would be an issue. I'm hoping Everton can go back and get another 2000 and put them on general sale as I reckon they would go by Monday morning as well.

only issue with this is that the ticket office wouldn't be able to post them, don't reckon we'd sell out 2,000 people coming to the box office to pick them up.

3000 Sold Out. Fantastic support
As always, yet the only media comment made on our support this year was that we cancelled the club trip to Krasnodar. Meanwhile we continue to get fed crap about the RS support (eg how the Kop was going to turn Basle into nervous wrecks) and that of the likes of Newcastle (yep, that's the same Newcastle who brought fewer than 1,000 to GP for the last two meetings).

The thing is as well, we still had 500 at Krasnodar which was unbelievable considering the effort fans had to make to get there. That was mentioned though because all that mattered was Evertons official travel was cancelled. Little old Everton don't have many away supporters it seems. Those 8000 at Lille were just figments of everyone's imagination.

I've always argued that the best criteria of what constitutes a big club is its away support because away support embodies the proud traditions of the clubs that have always been amongst the biggest and the most successful. So while it is now the case that, for example, West Ham get full houses for their PL games of 35,000, not dissimilar to us, they can only bring 400 to GP when we have 3000 going next week and could doubtless sell more tickets. Similarly the Geordies boast 50,000 home gates but can't bring more than 1,000 to GP for a Sky game when we always take a minimum of 2,000 to SJP even when scheduling makes it very difficult.

What's odd is how often the club underestimates the away following. Who will ever forget them asking for the lower allocation of 1,500 from QPR a few years ago -- and, predictably, selling out in 24 hours.

Makes you even prouder to be an Evertonian,3000 yeah but are we surprised?if anything our support increases when we face times of adversity, stick that one up your jumper all the Daily rags that try to do us down.

Selling 3000 for this replay was never in doubt. When was the last time we failed to sell our allocation in an F.A cup match? 5000 would easily have gone to this but Everton fanny about giving S/T holders with credits 3 days to buy tickets before going on general sale.

A very valid criticism. Logic would suggest that you should go for a large allocation so that you don't have to prioritise sales in the first place. Prioritising sales, in this case wasting 3 days, must mean that the club knew there was going to be demand for more than the allocation.

There are lots of ways our season is nothing like what we hoped for at the moment but flipping heck that is a positive. Haven't won for yonks, home fans booing when we do, can't keep a clean sheet for toffee, playing a system that is wobbling at best, away match at the end of a very expensive time of year AND live on telly!!!!!!!! Not bad at all lads. Hope you are noisy with it and get the result you deserve.
