It had a jarg (remember that word?) thing on it that meant you had to give another 5 members rep before you could give a member rep again.

Made up here, just found out what you're talking about and I'm on Page 2.
I prefer page 3 for obvious reasons, but this is a step in the right direction.

Funnily enough, while searching for this I found a neg rep from someone who signed themself as Damon but, now I read it properly, was plainly Chico !

So nobody actually answered my question, do you get to some sort of maximum rep level? I cant remember it changing since rep made a comeback.

Danny nerfed the system. Previously you could get up to 2000 or so rep points per rep (if the person repping you had a high enough rep) but now the limit is 5 points per poster. So yeah, the GOT rep rankings are likely to stay the same for now!
