3d is just a faze hasn't and won't take off. Super hd is way forward

Incidental losing 60 seats is about 40k a year in lost revenue. Are we compensated? Doubt it. Instead ticket price inflation next year? Likely.

I think the extra 15M or whatever it is each year will act as sufficient compensation

I don't there's so many seats being lost at GP, maybe because there's the wide walkway at the bottom of the terracing, at the St End at least. But we'll see. The seats being lost will presumably be close to the goals so another potential loss of atmosphere. And wherever the cameras are to be there'll be another scar on the face of GP.

Can someone please clarify, does this now mean I have to wear them silly 3d glasses when I'm sat in my seat at the Park End? Or is it just those sat in the Gwladys?

Really??? Tv money makes up the vast majority of our income!

I think they are in the first 3 rows at the front of Lower Gwladys St and Park End , on both sides of the goals. I know someone who is affected and has had the same seat since they were first installed nearly 20 years ago. Ironic that only yesterday the BBC announced they were dropping their 3D programmes. Apparently there are only 1.5m people in the country with 3D and only a handful ever looked at 3D programmes. Fewer and fewer customers are wanting 3D, being more than happy with the quality of picture with HD.

Looks like around 50 seats have been removed from the front row of the Lower Gwaldys either side of the goal. The intimidation factor at GP when the place gets rocking is worth a couple of wins every season. Every little matter like this that threatens to remove some of that intimidation is bad news. And all for the sake of the stay-at-homes and pub fans who can get Sky 3D. Maybe the Club should reinstate the seats for the 80% of home games when Sky don't want to know us.

What annoys me is those seats probably would've been season ticket holders, kids who love to sit at the front.

I sit in the 4th row, I know the lids that sit in front of me have been there as long as me, 15th year in my current seat.

I would cry if they took my seat.

So you're now officially row C? I'd like to see a picture of this.

50 seats is about 2 blocks isn't it? Unless its the first 2 rows of GT4 or something
