That late goal is a blow - make no mistake - but I prefer that we have to go out and look for the win. My worry was we would play for the draw, but we MUST seize home advantage now and take this gilt-edged opportunity to put this horrendous season to bed.
 

I’m as pessimistic as the next Evertonian, but I don’t agree. Regardless of what Leeds did the message should consistently be that we want to be winning this. It doesn’t change anything.
We should beat Brentford but not saying we will, results have gone for us recently and City grabbed a point so time to just go out like men and win to stay up. We have Thursday for insurance but given we're we were 2 weeks ago I'd have snapped your hands off to be in our current position. I'm sure we will make it difficult today its what supporting Everton is nowadays.
 
Shame Brighton couldn't hold on but we should have enough to get two points in three games. A win today would be really nice not to have to worry
