If we had won that game and it was there for taking we would have been 10 points clear and all but safe now.
A win for southampton tonight will be massive for us
Easy to say about hypotheticals but would anyone have put it beyond us to beat Burnley and then get battered by United? What if Cornet had scored that open goal against Norwich and pen v West Ham in the intervening period? We’d be in a pretty similar situation.
It would have been nice to put them away but we still have survival in our hands, there’s no make or break games, it’s purely points accumulation over the next 7 games. We could beat Liverpool away, lose the next 6 and go down. We could get beaten 10-0 at the weekend, then beat Palace and Brentford and stay up.
So, you are hoping to lose money ?I've had a bet on Burnley and the draw tonight. Hopefully I'll lose both bets.
It’s win-win.So, you are hoping to lose money ?
