Think from playing them at the weekend I'm more worried about one of the key players completely losing their heads near the end (like that young kid Man. United put on) getting sent off and a 3 match ban and missing Leicester and Watford away.

BTW just seen Man. United-Chelsea has been put in for 7.45pm on Thurs 29th April so that's good news imo as instead of Chelsea getting a free week and likely putting out their best 11 at Goodison it will be more of a mix and match team and they'll probably go stronger for Old Trafford.

Let's concentrate on tonight first though....

You’re confident at home to Chelsea? Alrighty then.

In fairness their recent record at Goodison is woeful....last won in May 2017 and lost their last three visits. As we see every season playing Arsenal that counts for something in both teams minds sometimes.

Very tough game but it's not an automatic defeat in my mind like the weekend.

Also got a very good 1-1 down there earlier this season with FSW and half of the regulars missing.

Well i'm not sure that saying a game isn't a complete write off and being confident are the same thing are they? I wasn't confident when we played Boreham Wood, so i'm certainly not confident playing Chelsea, but I wouldn't say it was beyond the realms of possibility that we could get something out of that game.

Perhaps Chelsea would even do frank a little favour…..!?

How the [Poor language removed] have Burnley not appointed anyone?
Feel like there was definitely a falling out behind the scenes. Don’t think they had any plans of getting rid of Dyche. At this stage of the season, so close to relegation, it’s understandable that they’ve not been able to tempt anyone in.

Got to hope that lack of an experienced head in charge of them can benefit us. They’ve won the least games in the Prem this season and may even have to double the wins they’ve got in that last 7 games to stand a chance of staying up.

Could be, but I think they were ready to gamble the last 8 games, it was really now or never. It's a high risk move, but they were probably going to go down with Dyche if they didn't do something crazy like win 4 of their next 8 games.

Tonight against Leicester at home is a great opportunity, they are without Vardy, Bertrand and Ndidi and off the back of a tough game at Newcastle and another against PSV. I think now some of their players will have one eye on the Roma game. Whatever we might think of the Europa Conference, being in a semi final and playing a side like Roma is a big deal. Leicester are in a position now where they have very little to fight for in the league, they are 9th, 9 points behind the team ahead of them.

For us this game is massive, if we win it, we go 6 points clear of Burnley with 7 games to go and we pile the pressure back on them, it makes their game against Southampton tomorrow a "must win" game. Its in our hands, I think we can do it with the players at it from the start and the fans right behind the team. COYB'S!

Yeah I don't even think the sacking was as harsh as so many seem to think it was - although it was unexpected. They were really poor last season and have been terrible this season.
