Chelsea winning this means our game against them will fall between their two CL semi-final legs. Got to mean them playing a weakened side :)

Leicester H
Liverpool A

Watford A

If we can pick up 7 points from those
I'd say we're gaurenteed safety barring some miracle run from the teams below us.

It's a big ask but it's doable. If Watford away can be 3 points of the 7 that'd be massive for us also.

I'm not saying our season is defined by those results. If we ended up only getting 4-5 points from those fixtures there are still games after where we can get points but if we gain 7 points from those 5 I'd say the monkey is off our back for the remaining 3 games against

Brentford H
Palace H
Arsenal A

If we play like we did against United or better then I believe we could pick up 4-7 points from the last 3 I just don't want it going down to the wire for us in the final few games if it can be avoided. I've had enough stress this season to last 12
Can't see us getting anything from those games

Aside from Chelsea and Liverpool
Leicester are in great form, although they've lost Vardy
Watford away will be tricky

Leicester still conceding every game and our home form defending is decent atm
Watford have the worst home record but then we have the worst away
Still think 7pts is possible

I think Leicester is really crucial tbh.

Currently the vibe is very similar to aftermath of Newcastle and that's understandable as it's always great to dig out a hard fought win. However everyone knows how quickly the positivity evaporated after that result so don't want that to happen again. Time will tell if the 11 day break is good or not.

Worry is Leicester come and win, suddenly the positivity at Goodison declines again and go into Liverpool and Chelsea stuck on 28 points.

Burnley in that timeframe have two home games and Watford away. I suppose the good news there is if they can't rouse themselves to get up to 17th then they're very unlikely to do it in final 3-4 games.

It is very much in our own hands. But by the time we play Leicester, Watford have played Brentford at home and Burnley have West Ham away. They both lose and the mood music changes slightly.
