Spurs if we took that chance early in 1st 90 odd secs, we never know how the rest of the match played out. We have missed many other chances. yes but the more you miss, the greater pressure on the team, Defence etc the crowd turns confidence gets affected, recipe for disaster

The thing that concerns me most is that we can't seem to put together a good game. It's always a good 30 or 45 minutes and then a big drop off in the other half. You can't win regularly with that type of trend. To beat good sides you usually need to be on it for 70 or 80 minutes.

That is eactly how half the time it goes. Always feel's as well some games that if we played a bad 1st half, instead of getting better 2nd like most teams do. We can sometimes just carry the bad performance on

The Palace game underlined it was true that playing away in Europe midweek affects teams. The Spurs game was all about not defending from set pieces.

If Palace hadn't squandered chance after chance the outcome would have been much different. Oh and Moyes stumbling on a change of tactics which I doubt he'll ever do again.

By now we should have put in at least one 60+ minute display. Fitness appears to be an ongoing problem.

Look at their next set of fixtures. I suspect Burnley Leicester this season and Leeds probably do too.

We are fine, much closer to Europe than that lot.
