I agree about the FA Cup. The League Cup was a real chance as we were a winnable home match from a semi. The FA Cup is too much of a long shot.
...and then we drew Liverpool.

Liverpool over 90 minutes, maybe. Liverpool over two matches, no chance.

All wasted physical and mental energy.

Just be thankful we didn't need to waste that.

We didn’t know that at the time. And we may not have drawn them had we won. We blew a simple penalty in clownish fashion. Unforgivable. But it’s gone and the League Cup is irrelevant now. The consequence is our momentum was stopped in its tracks. Need a result tomorrow if only for our nerves.

We were defeated at Spurs because we got no luck with decisions and failed to finish, nothing to do with momentum dropping. Same with City. 1-0 up at HT against a team that has barely won in to months. They were;t professional enough to get the job done second half. Dyche failed to make the right decisions for me.

3 wins in their last 6 games plus an injury time defeat against Arsenal having been ahead until the last few minutes. You can keep sneering at Luton if like, but once they realised that the Premier League wasn't as amazing in terms of talent they've looked like a club that thinks it can stay up.
IMO, and I said this before, Luton stay up.

That's why Ilm as concerned as I am.

We were defeated at Spurs because we didn’t turn up for 25 minutes and fell asleep defensively. Everything else was damage limitation - and Spurs are so feeble it was enough to get us right back in with a puncher’s chance.

Give any side a two-goal start and you are asking for trouble. That’s 5 in two games we’ve conceded now.

And I would say 3 of those 5 were really poor mistakes and goals we gifted the opposition.

Bottom line is that we need two tough LC SF's against Liverpool like we need another points deduction.

We're out and Ilm glad we're out and I hope Palace beat us in the FA Cup tie.

Our decks should be cleared for 19 PL games.

And we have won 5 of out last 8 and have won 11 more points then them on the pitch this season. And we will get comfortably more points then them over the 2nd half of the season. Maybe they will stay up. But it will not be at our expense.

I'm glad you can see the future, can you tell me all of the Cheltenham winners for March while you're at it?

You really are an obnoxious wet wipe.
Imagine not trying to predict what may happen in future games on a football forum .
Mate we lost at home to Luton and Fulham already this season. If you think we're going to comfortably stay up that's fine. I happen to think it's more touch and go. You talk about what you think as if it's a fact, hence my "obnoxious" reply.
