Just 1 win from the next 2 home games would be massive and have us out of the relegation zone.

Easier said than done with an abysmal home record and 2 tough teams to face.

6 points from the next three should be the target. Newcastle will be very tough but Chelsea are absolutely all over the place and Burnley are proper, proper bad. We can do this.

Newcastle won once away from home this season.

They're riddled with injuries.

Think it's a good time to play them tbh.
I fancy us for this one I really do. They’ve been having to play the same eleven cos they have no one else, they’ve been getting themselves really fired up for PSG and United and there’s a really good chance the energy runs out on Thursday. Comfortable Everton win with a Gordon red card.

Had we been hit with this disproportionate 10 points deduction in any other season I would be resigned to the idea of us going.

But we are staying up. These players might not be the best technically, but they are absolutely committed to this club and its fans and that Royal Blue Jersey.

Immense support from the away fans at Forest, by the way. From the first whistle to the last. We need to replicate that at Goodison.

I do fear for us over the coming weeks

I looked at Dyche’s results with us against the top teams, of whom we play many in the coming weeks. Apart from his first game against Arsenal, it’s a really poor record.

Realistically, I’d be VERY happy with draws against the very top sides. Were 2 points from safety, putting more pressure on the other scrappers down there and reducing it slightly from us. Small steps…

They need to decide on the appeal asap imo. But I reckon they will wait to see how well we get on in the next couple of mobths. I bet, if we really pull away, they will decide not to reduce it; knowing we will be ok - which they think would show them how firm they have been, and they are sticking to their guns.

Whilst picking up as many points as possible is obviously the target I wouldn’t become too despondent if we lose or don’t win those games….our success mainly will come from beating teams from the bottom quarter / third….which we have shown we can do, so whilst I would love for us to pick-up points against those teams, Burnley imo is a must win.

They play with ridiculous intensity. That said this season in the league they only drew 2-2 at West Ham and Wolves and lost at Bournemouth so not the same team on the road. Think Howe will mix the team up a bit as they've put the same 11 out three times in a week.

A draw for sure, probably need a bit of luck to win it but it could be possible.
We owe them for last season at GP.
