If Pompey want to sign Yak then they would have the same permit issues we have had but only have 2 days to sort them out. Not possible in my opinion. Nugent's move to the south coast was obviously a quick pay cheque knee jerk reaction from his agent, Nugent may not be happy down there and getting homesick already. I know we can say the player has the final say, but I would not read too much into that. The agents still reign supreme I am afraid.

I think he doesn't want to play for Portsmouth. It smells very much like Unsworth West Ham via Villa to Everton.

Maybe an agent has been talking to dodgy 'arry and its come out that the lad wants to play for Everton, an agent up here has sounded them out and 'arry has thought, well maybe I should cash in. Now that Anelka may be available his head has turned that way, and poor old Nugent has been left high and dry.

Should have stuck out his contract at PNE, and moved to Everton for free.

It still blows my mind how they could ever credit that goal to Nugent. Blatantly Defoe's goal till the [Poor language removed] house stole it from him. If defoe could fight then he would have leathered Nugent.
